SUSTAINABLE VILLAGE AND LEARNING COMMUNITY, LULY, HAITI, 2019:  

Working in collaboration with the University of Miami’s Center for Community Design, the State University of New York and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The “Sustainable Village and Learning Community” is planned to be built on 40 acres of land near the town of Luly.  Planning work began this year in Haiti with a cross disciplinary team of architects and engineers.  The community aims to be both environmentally and economically sustainable.  Students can focus on a variety of trades, including construction, nursing, hospitality, applied technology, agriculture and the performing arts.  Phase one of construction is scheduled to begin in 2019.
