JUNGLE HOUSE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, 2015: The owners of an existing single-family house in Miami wanted to expand their home to include a new kitchen, living area, dining room, two bedrooms, and two baths. The project totals approximately 1,500 sf and takes advantage of the beautiful, densely landscaped property. The house was designed around the existing vegetation, preserving all but one tree on site. The existing house "backed up" to the landscape. This new addition attempts to embrace it.
