TRANSIT ORIENTED DESIGN, DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 2017: The work shown here was completed in a seven-day on-site charrette workshop with the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council. Our proposal investigated the possibility of adding new mixed-use development on city owned land adjacent to the station location. The four-story building with a roof terrace and garden is imagined to be an exposed concrete frame structure with deep terraces for the upper floor apartments. Parking is encouraged to occupy a recently built adjacent structure, reducing vehicular congestion in the area. The full report can be downloaded at www.tcrpc.org
