Steven Fett Architecture, Inc. is an architectural design and planning firm located in downtown Miami.  Established in 2004, projects range from small to mid-sized custom residential, commercial and civic architecture, to large-scale master plans for neighborhoods and cities in the United States and abroad.  The firm has won a number of important awards including the American Institute of Architects (AIA Miami) Merit Award for the Luly Vocational School, the Florida Redevelopment Association’s President's Award, and the American Public Works Association’s, “Public Works Project of the Year” for the built redesign of Commercial Boulevard in downtown Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida, a project co-authored with, Jaime Correa. Steven was recently recognized by the Miami New Times as the “Best Architect” in Miami, 2018.

Steven is also a full-time lecturer at the University of Miami, School of Architecture. as well as an assistant director of the School’s Center for Urban and Community Design. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota, and a Master of Architecture and Master of Urban Design at the University of Miami. Steven is a regular contributor to the School’s Open City Studio, an itinerant urban laboratory that travels to international cities each summer.

In addition, Steven is a founding member of the research and design firm, Monteleone, dedicated to the pursuit of sustainable civic art, a new vision in urbanism and environmentalism.  Monteleone’s award-placing design entry to rebuild Haiti's National Cathedral in Port au Prince was recently published in Architect Magazine.
